Nigerians across the 36 states of the federation including the federal capital territory would be going to the polls to cast their votes in the presidential and house of assembly election.

These elections have been described by the majority as an important one given the state of the nation, hence the need for Nigerians to keep themselves abreast of vital information regarding the election.

Stated below are digital tools which can be used by Nigerians to get real time information about the conduct of the 2023 general elections.

Google Trends: Google Trends is a free tool that allows you to see what people are searching for on Google. During elections, you can use Google Trends to track the popularity of different candidates and issues, and see how search interest changes over time. This can give you insights into voter sentiment and help you make more informed decisions.

Google Alerts: Google Alerts is another free tool that can help you stay up to date on the latest news and information about candidates, issues, and events related to the election. You can set up alerts for specific keywords or phrases, and Google will send you an email whenever there are new search results matching your criteria.

Google Maps: Google Maps can be a useful tool during elections for finding polling stations and planning your route to vote. You can also use Google Maps to find out where political rallies and events are taking place, and get directions to those locations.
