Withdrawals delayed as PiggyVest suffers downtime

PiggyBank, popularly known as Piggyvest has suffered a downtime, leaving users unable to withdraw funds from their respective accounts with the app.

In a post on its official Twitter handle on Monday, the investment platform confirmed the downtime and promised to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

“Our payment processors are experiencing a temporary downtime which has resulted in a number of delayed withdrawals.

“We understand how much of an inconvenience this situation is to you, however, we request your kind patience as we actively work to resolve this.

“Withdrawals are currently being processed, rest assured that you will receive your funds.

“Thank you for your understanding.”

PiggyVest is the leading savings, and investment application in Nigeria, with a recorded number of 3.5 million users.
