Salesforce partners OpenAI to integrate ChatGPT into Slack

Salesforce unveils AI Cloud, doubles fund for AI startups

American cloud-based software company, Salesforce Inc., announced on Tuesday that it was collaborating with OpenAI, to integrate ChatGPT into Slack.

This is to further integrate generative artificial intelligence across all of its business products.

In order to help businesses create email drafts, customer-account information, and computer code, the San Francisco startup said the technology it is calling EinsteinGPT would mix its proprietary AI with those of other partners, including OpenAI.

In order to assist users with chat thread summaries and other issues, ChatGPT would also integrate with Slack.

The decision highlights a competition among tech companies to integrate generative AI into their products, which can generate new text, images, and other content using inputs from the past.

In a press conference, Clara Shih, general manager at Salesforce, stated that the announcement was made in response to business demand for emerging technology.

She claimed that Salesforce’s in-house data and AI models will help to distinguish its product.

She claimed that businesses could “completely reimagine how they engage with their customers” with the aid of Salesforce’s generative AI solutions.
