Microsoft to introduce tabs feature in note pads

A Microsoft employee recently divulged that Windows 11’s Notepad program would soon have a Tabs feature.

Notepad’s internal version snapshot allegedly showed the app’s new tabs style, according to allegations from Windows Central.

Microsoft intends to significantly enhance its ability to serve customers and improve user experiences, as shown by the fact that the corporation added tabs to File Explorer in Windows 11 in response to complaints from insiders before announcing the Tabs feature.

Similar to how people can use a web browser to open many web pages simultaneously, users can use this functionality to open multiple files or directories simultaneously. The next iteration of Notepad for Windows Insiders will probably be revealed in the upcoming weeks.

Additionally, the company added a built-in screen recording feature to the popular snipping tool for Windows 11 earlier this month.

Experts predict that when the firm added tabs to File Explorer, the addition of this new functionality will result in Microsoft’s first integrated program receiving a tabbed interface. The introduction of tabs in Notepad could be a sign that more tab features will soon be available in other Microsoft programs.

Advanced users of the operating system still use third-party tools and applications to activate tabs in other portions of the system despite Microsoft’s decision to stop supporting Sets in Windows 10.

The company is also branching out into a variety of other industries. In addition, it is marketing its ecological and educational projects to give Microsoft customers more control.
