Bill Gates has been reportedly dating Paula Hurd, the widow of late Oracle co-CEO Mark Hurd, for more than a year now.
“They’re inseparable,” the suspected couple’s friend told the Daily Mail on Wednesday.
“They’ve been together for over a year, and she’s always been described as a mystery woman,’ but their inner circle knows they’re in a romantic relationship.”
Paula’s spouse died in October 2019 at the age of 62 following a prolonged struggle with cancer. At the time of his death, his net worth was reported to be $500 million.
They’ve been dating for almost a year, according to reports.
Meanwhile, Paula was a tech executive before becoming an event planner and philanthropist.
Paula, 60, and Gates, 67, run in the same circles and had met before Mark’s death due to their shared love of tennis.
In 2015, they were caught sitting in the same box at a tennis tournament.
She and the Microsoft co-founder were recently seen enjoying the Men’s Singles Final at the Australian Open in Melbourne, Australia.
They fanned relationship speculations even more when they were seen walking around the Australian city together, but she was not named at the time.
Paula and Mark were the parents of two daughters, Kathryn and Kelly.
For his part, Gates had been married to his now-ex-wife, Melinda Gates, for 27 years. In August 2021, they formalized their divorce.
He and his wife, Melinda, have three children: Jennifer, 26, Rory, 23, and Phoebe, 20.
Bill, who is worth $106 billion, revealed on “Today” in May 2022 that he “caused pain” in his marriage to Melinda but refused to discuss “the particulars.”
