TikTok on Thursday announced “TikTok Trivia,” a new live 5-day trivia game for U.S.
Tiktokers who are 18 years of age and older can enter to win a total share of a $500,000 prize pool by selecting the correct answers to multiple-choice questions about fashion, music, sports, and beauty.
Next week, on February 22, TikTok Trivia will start and end. Over the first three days, there will be two hour-long live sessions of TikTok trivia each day.
There will be 12 questions in the first session, which will start at 8 p.m. EST. Those that won shared a $30,000 prize. Winners of the second session, which begins at 9 p.m. ET, will get a $70,000 prize.
Also, there will be unique “Survival Rounds” where the questions get progressively harder. A $100,000 prize money will be shared between the final three teams.
The survival rounds happen from February 25 to 26.
Users will encounter trivia questions based on the “John Wick” franchise as well as “surprises and integrations,” the business noted in today’s release. The experience is also given by Lionsgate and “John Wick Chapter 4.”
On March 24, “John Wick: Chapter 4” will debut.
Users can take part by visiting the @TikTok channel on TikTok LIVE, and participate in TikTok’s live trivia events. For a chance to win a portion of the prize money, participants must show up for the trivia sessions on time and properly answer all questions.
Users in the U.S. who are 18 or older can sign up for the experience as of right now by clicking on a trivia widget in the For You stream. People can go to the @TikTok account or search for #TikTokTrivia.

TikTok will suggest creators who are currently live streaming on TikTok LIVE for users to check out after each trivia session.
The age limit for hosting live streams on the short video app was recently increased to 18 years old.
James Henry, a content producer who used to appear in the “You’ve been scrolling for way too long” videos on your For You feed, serves as the host of TikTok Trivia. 4.2 million people follow Henry on TikTok.
“Game shows and trivia have been a part of popular culture for years, and I’m thrilled to work with TikTok to bring this engaging entertainment format to TikTok Live. TikTok Trivia has the power to bring people together, creating an electrifying atmosphere filled with excitement and a shared sense of community,” said Henry in a statement.
Many TikTok users, not just “John Wick” fans, but also people who recall HQ Trivia, the 12-question live video trivia game where players could take part in many daily games and earn real money, are sure to be interested in the new trivia experience.
According to rumours, TikTok may have plans to include minigames in LIVE videos. Another source indicates that the business might be searching for collaborators to launch a live shopping service in the United States.
In 2020, HQ Trivia was shut down.
